Work Experience: 3D Artist
Credit - Enter Yes
During my internship as a 3D Artist, I was able to partake within the creation of character / prop design for film and game.
Although I was still new to 3D at the time, through thorough revision, participation in external tutorials and dedication to my craft, I was able to work alongside professionals within my dream industry. Our team within Enter Yes was small, yet dedicated and specialised, each committed to their own category working within the production of films and games.
As an intern I felt welcomed and informed throughout my role, which involved being shadowed by more experienced 3D Animators, 3D Artists, 2D Animators and VFX Artists. This ‘Shadowing’ experience allowed me to learn a professional industry workflow that was carefully selected by Managing Directors, Producers and Creative Cohorts from the Film / Game industry.
I was also tasked with working on bigger projects, such as the creation of a 3D character for the short film, “Wind and the Shadow”

Conclusion:
My overall experience as a 3D Artist Intern within the Game / Film industry was extremely empowering and challenging, as the experience helped to push me to my full potential as an artist.
Learning from industry experts and being surrounded by a talented, multidimensional organisation allowed me to gain invaluable knowledge of what it means to be a team-player within an already specialist community.
